Greater Parkland Regional Chamber of Commerce

“Invest in your Community”
The Chamber is here
for business, to do
what is necessary for our
advocacy role to improve
and maintain a positive
business climate".

This is Your Chamber of Commerce

We are the front door of your business community and the “watchdog” to ensure that government and legislation work to provide the best environment for businesses to grow and prosper. The chamber strives for excellence in the business community and advocates best practices for our business members. The chamber's principle objectives are the promotion, development, and encouragement of trade and commerce, economic, civic and social welfare of the city and area.

Our region is one of the fastest-growing in the province and as a chamber we support the tri-region (City of Spruce Grove, Parkland County and Town of Stony Plain) in working smarter in representation of their taxpayers, sharing services and partnering in programs, projects, and events that make economic sense for the region as a whole.

The chamber supports those industries that have the competencies to trade globally and work to ensure that those industries that aspire to do the same are equipped with the information and tools they require to ship to or receive goods from the world market place. The chamber also considers our Region as unique and encourages all that live here to “Invest in your Community”

Where we shop, where we eat and have fun – all of it makes our region our home. Our businesses are an integral part of the distinctive character of this place. Most local business can make more local purchases requiring less transportation. Small local businesses are the largest employer across the country, and here in the region provide jobs to residents. Local business hires people with a better understanding of the product they are selling and take more time to get to know you, the customer. Local business is owned by people who live in the community and invested in the region’s future. When you make an informed choice to spend your money shopping at your local business you are:
  • Reducing the environmental impact
  • Creating more good jobs
  • Investing in your Community
  • Encouraging Local Prosperity
The tri-region has a wealth of history to be proud of and the region will continue to grow and prosper with visionary leadership and a strong chamber of commerce. The chamber’s strength is its members. All businesses should be members of their chamber of commerce.
